Accommodation

Both locations (of the Workshop and the Summer Schools) are in the Centre of Warsaw, which offers a significant number of hotels (all categories), hostels and pensions, which are located walking distance to the venues.

The Summer School is organised at the main campus of the University of Warsaw, next to the Old Town.

Warsaw’s Public Transport

Warsaw is connected with many international cities, there are 2 airports: in the centre of City: Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW), and Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI) – 40 km from the Centre.

Both airports offer very good connection possibilities by public and private transports.

From the Chopin Airport there is a direct connection with University of Warsaw (bus line No. 175, which takes ~35-40 minutes, running daily between 5:00 – 23:27, „Uniwersytet” bus stop, details). One way ticket costs ~1.1 EUR (valid 75 minutes), one-day ticket ~3,3 EUR, and three-day ticket – 9 EUR.

Train:  a 25-munute train service from the city centre to the airport WAW
Taxi: University-airport connection, 11 km, 25 minutes, 60 PLN.
