The Summer School and Workshop on Evaluation and Benchmark of Sensors and Systems in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing aims at a presentation of the newest solutions in the spatial data processing.
The Warsaw University of Technology hosts participants during first two days (16-17.09.2019) in the frame of the Workshop on Evaluation and Benchmarking of Sensors, Systems and Geospatial Data in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. The programme is focused on a presentation of a wide variety of sensors and systems available on the market for collecting spatial data makes the evaluation of provided information, calibration of sensors and benchmarking of systems a critical task.
Three last days (18-20.09.2019) cover the 2nd VOLTA Summer School, which is organised at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies. The topic is oriented on the hyperspectral field, airborne data acquisition and processing (programme).
VOLTA – innoVation in geOspatiaL and 3D daTA – is an EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie RISE (Research and Innovation Staff Exchange; grant agreement No 734687) project related to Geodata, Geomatics and Geoinformatics. The project will feature secondments, training activities and networking to facilitate knowledge exchange and career progresses in the geospatial field. The project will develop innovative solutions in order to automatically provide metric information from images, merge and segment heterogeneous data and process large datasets via web services.
During the Workshop and the Summer School photos will be taken, which will be published (on-line as photo galleries and in reporting materials) as a documentary of the event.
